Noryl is a type of plastic with very good engineering properties. It has high chemical resistance, is impact resistant, FDA compliant, and is great for use with electrical components. It is very stable temperature-wise and does not absorb moisture. At Traco, we typically machine a version of Noryl called EN265. This is a very good machining material. Post machining EN265 retains a very good surface. EN265 is easily fabricated and machinable, you can glue it, and it can be painted.
